The Master is powered on and off by the vehicle ignition.  There is no need to turn the master off unless there is no need for power, inverter or Wifi in the vehicle.  To operate the emergency lights each switch for the primary lights and light bar need to be turned on individually.  The only switch for heat and AC in the patient compartment is located on the center console.  Temperature and fan speed are controlled at the rear control panel by the attendant seat.

Siren operation is similar to most sirens and it is the crews responsibility to be familiar with its operation:

The red switch is the siren master, rotate the dial to the desired wail setting.  The HORN/SIREN switch changes what the horn does on the steering wheel.  In Siren setting it changes the tone of the siren when the horn is pressed.  In Horn setting the vehicle horn will activate.  The switch should remain in horn setting when not driving emergency so the vehicle horn functions.

T.P.M.S.  (Tire Pressure Monitor System)

This vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel TPMS system.  You can use the D.I.C. to scroll through the menus to find tire pressures.

If the light is illuminated check the system and add air to the effected tire as needed.

Cold Weather Staging

This vehicle is equipped with a fully automatic engine temperature management system. In very cold weather while parked the RPM's will vary depending on outside temperature and engine temperature.  RPM range is from 600 to 1100, this is totally normal.

High Idle: *Set parking brake just enough for the red brake light to come on.  Press the cruise control + button also known as the set button.  Pressing +/SET will increase the engine RPM's to 1200 until cancelled by pressing cancel or the brake pedal.

*Avoid setting the parking brake in extremely cold temps as it may freeze in the ON positon. Just press the pedal far enough to get the red brake light to come on.

Cold Start: Approximately 45 seconds after cold start the computer will idle up the engine as part of a warm up program.

Winter Grill Cover:  (If Equipped) Grill cover should be opened if temps are above 30 degrees and closed if below 30 degrees. This cover blocks airflow to the radiator, monitor engine temps while driving if the engine exceeds 210 the cover needs to be opened or removed from the grill completely.  (It is your responsibility monitor all engine gauges)

Cold Starting / Cold Storage Starting:

Unplug the block heater before attempting to start the truck,   (Cord located on front grill)                                                              Cranking the truck with the block heater hot and operational could potentially cause the block heater to crack and fail.

Keep the truck plugged in while cranking to allow for supplemental power from the charger to help maintain the batteries.
